Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation, including clearing, digging, and grading under the supervision of foremen.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site using forklifts, cranes, or hand trucks.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power tools, including saws, drills, and compressors, ensuring safe usage at all times.
- Assist Trades: Support skilled tradespeople such as electricians, carpenters, and plumbers with basic tasks as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Clean Up: Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris and waste materials regularly.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required for site travel.
- Experience: Previous construction or labor experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions accurately and pay attention to safety details.
