Responsibilities
- Execute physical labor tasks including material handling, excavation support, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervisor guidance (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Maintain strict OSHA compliance and site cleanliness protocols
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks
- Perform equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous physical tasks
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid California Driver's License (Class B+ a plus)
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Sacramento County
- Availability Saturdays/Sundays (6 AM-4 PM) with occasional overtime
- Basic tool knowledge and mechanical aptitude
