Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment under supervision
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain job site cleanliness
- Assist skilled tradespeople with complex installations and structural work
- Read blueprints and project specifications to ensure precision execution
- Manage material inventory and coordinate deliveries to minimize downtime
- Perform preventative equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction or related labor experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
