Responsibilities
- Assist in site preparation, excavation, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to safety protocols
- Support carpenters and skilled trades with general tasks
- Inspect tools/equipment for damage and report issues
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions precisely
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic tool knowledge and mechanical aptitude
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for weekend shifts
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Experience with concrete, demolition, or landscaping preferred
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
