Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites through material handling, equipment setup, and debris removal
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material preparation and task support
- Operate hand/power tools safely including saws, drills, and leveling equipment
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Read basic blueprints and construction plans for accurate task execution
- Assist with concrete pouring, framing, finishing, and site cleanup operations
- Complete daily progress reports and inventory tracking for materials/equipment
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous outdoor work
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts, 6 AM - 4 PM)
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong teamwork ethic and clear communication skills
- Previous construction or labor experience preferred
