Responsibilities
- Execute precise concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks on residential/commercial sites
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and power tools with OSHA compliance
- Install/repair structural components, roofing, and MEP systems under supervisor guidance
- Perform site preparation, debris removal, and hazardous material handling protocols
- Read blueprints and technical schematics to ensure project specifications are met
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Collaborate with cross-trade teams (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) for seamless workflow
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience with weekend shift availability
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and basic construction machinery
- Knowledge of Virginia building codes and safety regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in fast-paced environments
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
