Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites through debris removal, equipment setup, and safety barrier installation
- Load/unload heavy materials using forklifts and manual lifting techniques
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervisor guidance
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Maintain OSHA compliance standards and report safety hazards immediately
- Perform site cleanup and waste management protocols daily
- Support equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or heavy labor experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds consistently and work in extreme weather
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Availability for all weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) with occasional holidays
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Strong teamwork ethic and ability to follow verbal instructions
