We are currently seeking dedicated Construction Laborers for our weekend shift projects in Charlotte, NC. Our weekend shifts are critical to meeting our project deadlines, and we are looking for individuals who take pride in their workmanship and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, setting up work areas, and ensuring the site is safe and accessible for the crew.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor.
- General Labor: Perform a variety of manual tasks including digging, shoveling, mixing concrete, and assisting skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily operations.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools and handheld equipment under supervision to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Documentation: Assist with basic site reporting and inventory checks as needed.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred; on-the-job training provided.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Tools: Basic familiarity with construction tools and safety gear is a plus.
