Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing the construction site by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding under supervision.
- Equipment Support: Operate and maintain power tools and heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) safely and according to protocols.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets project specifications and quality control standards set by the site supervisor.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by performing regular cleanup duties at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long durations.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction labor, landscaping, or general maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday) consistently.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.
- Documentation: Must possess a valid ID and pass a background check and drug screening.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure tasks are completed accurately and safely.
