Responsibilities
- Assist Tradespeople: Provide direct support to skilled carpenters, electricians, and general contractors on various projects.
- Maintenance: Keep the job site clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure a safe working environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools under the supervision of a foreman or lead.
- Site Prep: Perform basic site preparation tasks such as digging, filling, or clearing.
- Documentation: Assist in the setup and breakdown of job sites and complete daily logs as required.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit and able to perform strenuous labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Safety Conscious: Commitment to adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols.
