Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently and safely.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic power tools and equipment under supervision, including saws, drills, and compressors.
- Crew Support: Provide general labor support to carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople as needed.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized job site, including cleaning up spills and securing tools.
- Measurement & Layout: Assist in measuring and marking areas for cutting and installation according to blueprints.
- Quality Control: Help ensure all work meets Apex Building Solutions' quality standards.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and some weekdays if required.
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Tools: Basic understanding of construction tools and safety gear is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members.
- License: Valid driverβs license and reliable transportation are required.
- Safety Mindset: Commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines.
