Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris and laying groundwork.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and distribute them to work areas.
- Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools under supervision.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a safe worksite.
- Perform general cleanup and maintenance of the job site at the end of each shift.
- Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, ironworkers, etc.) with various manual tasks.
- Read and interpret basic instructions and safety signage.
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects, bending, standing, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work well within a team.
- Basic math skills and ability to follow simple verbal or written instructions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
