Responsibilities
- Assist in site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Operate hand tools (shovels, hammers, saws) and light machinery (concrete mixers, power drills)
- Load/unload construction materials and transport them to designated areas
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and wear required PPE
- Collaborate with crew members to complete weekend project milestones
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous tasks
- Valid driver’s license (for equipment operation)
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Memphis metro area
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work in a team
