Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by cleaning, digging, and clearing areas as directed.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) with various tasks and projects.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe by removing debris and following safety protocols.
- Equipment Support: Set up and break down temporary workstations and barricades.
- Reporting: Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the site supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong desire to learn.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Teamwork: Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred, but not strictly required.
