Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, marking areas, and setting up temporary fencing.
- Material Handling: Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks and distribute them to work areas.
- General Labor: Perform manual tasks such as digging, shoveling, carrying, and lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work environment by sweeping, raking, and removing trash daily.
- Assistance: Help skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with basic tasks and setups.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically able to perform manual labor, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday).
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation to and from the job site.
- Work Ethic: A strong desire to learn and a willingness to work hard as part of a team.
- Reliability: Punctual and consistent attendance is required.
- Communication: Basic ability to follow instructions from site supervisors.
