Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris, digging, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment (such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or jackhammers) under supervision.
- Assisting Trades: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and painters as needed to ensure workflow continuity.
- Cleaning & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work area, and strictly adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Reliability: Dependable work history and a strong work ethic.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory.
