Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and laying out materials
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and light machinery under supervision
- Assist skilled tradespeople with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines at all times
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized work areas
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Perform site cleanup and waste management procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or equivalent training
- Valid O-10 construction certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license required
