Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and job site preparations.
- Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools, including forklifts, jackhammers, and saws, following all safety protocols.
- Perform general site cleanup, including debris removal, excavation, and trenching support.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Follow blueprints and instructions from site supervisors to complete assigned tasks accurately.
- Perform basic measurements and assist in rough carpentry or framing tasks when needed.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a regular basis.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices and the ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Previous construction experience is preferred but not required; we provide training for motivated candidates.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
