Responsibilities
- Perform general construction labor tasks including site preparation, cleanup, and material handling.
- Operate and maintain basic construction tools and equipment (e.g., saws, drills, levels) safely and efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with framing, drywall installation, or concrete work as directed.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Load and unload building materials from delivery trucks and transport them to the job site.
- Build and secure temporary structures or scaffolding when required by the project manager.
- Document daily work activities and material usage accurately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus.
- Valid California Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs frequently and stand for extended periods on job sites.
- Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Willingness to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
