Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, material handling, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervisor guidance
- Assist carpenters and masons with framing, concrete pouring, and finishing work
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site cleanliness
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from project managers
- Transport materials via forklift or manual methods as needed
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or heavy labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Reliable transportation to job sites across King County
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Washington Driver's License required
