Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and ensuring the area is safe for operations.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- General Labor: Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including digging, lifting, carrying, and basic site cleanup.
- Tool Operation: Operate and maintain basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a recurring basis.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Reliability: A history of consistent attendance and punctuality is required.
- Work Ethic: A positive attitude and willingness to learn new trades are highly valued.
