Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding under supervision.
- Machinery Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including painting, framing, or concrete pouring as needed.
- Documentation: Complete daily logs and report any safety hazards or equipment issues to the site supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is a plus, but we will train motivated candidates.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is preferred.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
