Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment on-site and at job sites.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction machinery and tools, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and power drills, under supervision.
- Quality Assurance: Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks to ensure high-quality standards are met on every project.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, wear personal protective equipment (PPE), and report hazards immediately.
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction or labor experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, and climbing.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required for site travel.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
