Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, site preparation, and basic construction tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Maintain clean, organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Perform trenching, shoveling, and concrete finishing as needed
- Complete daily safety checklists and report hazards
- Adhere to project blueprints and supervisor instructions
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (6am-6pm)
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
