Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites through debris removal, excavation, and material staging
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers, etc.)
- Load/unuck materials at job sites and maintain organized storage areas
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and report hazards immediately
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks and basic repairs
- Assist with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Participate in site cleanup and waste disposal procedures
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform strenuous physical labor
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction site safety standards
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work in a team
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
