Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and marking hazards
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervisor guidance
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling and basic installation tasks
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Perform basic site maintenance including trenching, backfilling, and grading
- Complete daily progress reports and timesheets accurately
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid government-issued ID
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Louisville metro area
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions with appropriate PPE
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
- OSHA 10-hour certification (training provided if needed)
