Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen in construction tasks including excavation, demolition, and site preparation
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA standards
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Perform physical labor including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects
- Adhere to safety protocols and report hazards immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year construction or manual labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
