Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other skilled trades on job sites
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Prepare sites by clearing debris and setting up barriers
- Operate basic machinery (saws, drills, jackhammers) with training
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Read blueprints and verbal instructions from supervisors
- Complete daily timecards and progress reports accurately
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid photo ID
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Reliable transportation to job sites across DFW metroplex
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counts
- Team player with strong communication skills
- No prior experience required – training provided!
