Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on active construction sites
- Prepare work areas by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers, etc.)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized workspaces
- Perform basic site maintenance and emergency repairs as needed
- Document daily progress and material usage in field reports
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic tool knowledge (hammers, saws, levels, etc.)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with daily attendance
- Willingness to work overtime/weekends as project demands
- Previous construction or warehouse experience preferred
