Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and hazardous material disposal
- Read and interpret blueprints, safety plans, and project specifications
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment
- Assist with concrete pouring, formwork, and finishing tasks
- Transport materials via forklift, skid steer, or manual methods as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic math skills for material measurement and calculation
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with power tools and construction equipment preferred
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with daily reporting capability
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
