Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality commercial and residential electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate wiring and system configurations.
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Perform regular safety inspections and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
- Collaborate with project managers and foremen to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
- Mentor junior apprentices and provide technical guidance when necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license issued by the State of California.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and power tools.
- Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems, circuit breakers, and wiring diagrams.
- Current OSHA 10 or 30 Construction Safety Certification.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
