Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and earthmoving operations using heavy machinery
- Install and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete structures with precision and craftsmanship
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, masons, welders) with material handling
- Operate power tools and hand tools efficiently and safely
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor or related trade experience
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Los Angeles County
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
