Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and site preparation tasks following blueprints and safety protocols
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery under supervision
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete for foundations and structures
- Install and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Load/unload materials and maintain organized job site cleanliness
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with skilled trades to support project timelines
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials handling
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Boston Metro area
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work early mornings (5:30 AM starts) and occasional weekends
- Strong teamwork ethic and ability to follow verbal/written instructions
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
