Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand tools
- Assist skilled tradespersons with site preparation and cleanup activities
- Follow safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Operate light machinery (e.g., concrete mixers, jackhammers) with proper training
- Transport materials to designated job sites safely and efficiently
- Complete daily time logs and incident reports accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or related labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with consistent attendance
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
