Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow blueprints and instructions from supervisors to ensure project specifications
- Perform cleanup duties and debris removal to maintain OSHA compliance
- Participate in daily safety briefings and adhere to all workplace protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of construction labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with daily availability
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
