Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks on construction sites including excavation, material handling, and site cleanup
- Operate basic machinery like jackhammers, saws, and drills under supervision
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, masons) with material preparation
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Reliable transportation to job sites
