Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople in construction tasks including excavation, demolition, and material handling
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely using proper techniques
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and maintaining cleanliness
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project instructions
- Perform general cleanup and waste disposal at project sites
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout San Francisco
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
