Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradespersons with construction site preparation and cleanup
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Transport materials using equipment like wheelbarrows, dollies, or forklifts (with certification)
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines efficiently
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards (OSHA certification preferred)
- Physical stamina for 8-10 hour shifts with frequent standing/bending
- Willingness to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
