Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (e.g., saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to meet OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) and physical labor in various weather conditions
- Participate in daily safety briefings and hazard mitigation
- Complete daily time logs and equipment maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Strong work ethic with punctual attendance record
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols
- Reliable transportation to job sites within 30-mile radius
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends when required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
