Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and leveling ground
- Load/unload materials and equipment safely using forklifts/cranes
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Assist carpenters, masons, and welders with material handling
- Follow OSHA guidelines and maintain job site cleanliness
- Read blueprints and interpret basic construction plans
- Complete daily progress reports and safety checklists
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Experience with concrete, framing, or demolition preferred
- Flexible schedule for overtime during peak seasons
