Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on construction sites
- Prepare sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and transporting materials
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain equipment cleanliness
- Follow blueprints and instructions from supervisors to ensure precision
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Complete daily cleanup and waste management procedures
- Support emergency repairs and unexpected project demands
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Team-oriented communication skills
