Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and installation.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Perform basic measurements, cutting, and material handling as directed by the site supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols and PPE usage is preferred.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well within a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow verbal and written instructions.
