Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including excavation, leveling, and debris removal.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Mix concrete, sand, gravel, and cement for foundations and structural work.
- Follow blueprints and specifications to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to building codes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in full compliance with OSHA standards.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in general labor or construction is a strong plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols is highly desirable.
