Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment (such as compressors, generators, and drills) under supervision.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, shoveling, and removing waste materials.
- Trade Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing/walking on uneven terrain.
- Safety First: Must possess a strong understanding of basic safety protocols and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) usage.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is preferred.
