Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by digging trenches, setting forms, and clearing debris.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic power tools and hand tools under the supervision of experienced tradespeople.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Assistance: Support electricians, plumbers, and carpenters with various tasks as needed.
- Inventory Management: Help track and manage on-site inventory levels.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, hardworking, and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
- Attendance: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
- License: Valid driver's license preferred but not required.
- Attitude: A positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
