Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction activities and site preparation.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment safely.
- Keep the job site clean, organized, and free of debris to maintain a safe environment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and distribute them to the correct locations.
- Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and site-specific protocols.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints or work orders when necessary.
Qualifications
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards is preferred but not required.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from foremen.
- Valid driver's license is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
