Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, grading, and laying groundwork for foundations.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- General Labor: Perform a variety of manual labor tasks including digging, mixing concrete, carpentry assistance, and painting support.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with skilled tradesmen (electricians, plumbers, framers) to complete tasks as directed by the project supervisor.
- Equipment Operation: Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely under supervision.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in general construction, landscaping, or warehouse labor is preferred but not required (we provide training).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for 8+ hours a day, including lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs) and standing on uneven terrain.
- Tools: Basic understanding of construction tools and safety equipment is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- License: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Safety First: Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
