Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and material handling at construction sites
- Operate hand/power tools safely (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Assist skilled tradespeople with concrete, framing, and site prep
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA standards
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
- Participate in daily site briefings and safety meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Experience with forklifts or heavy machinery a plus
