Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including framing, drywalling, and basic finishing.
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and in accordance with guidelines.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies strictly.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and project plans.
- Perform physical labor, including digging, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, safety equipment, and terminology.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not always required.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the skilled trades field.
