Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks on job sites, including loading, unloading, and carrying materials.
- Operate construction equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and concrete mixers under supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Prepare and clean work areas, including demolition and debris removal.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and site plans when required.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Must be safety-conscious and punctual.
